5+1 tips to help your baby sleep through the night
Is your baby having trouble sleeping through the night?
We've put together some tips that can help you have a long and restful night for the whole family.
1. Have a predictable evening ritual
Predictability is extremely important for babies and toddlers.
Establishing an evening ritual is important, as it helps them know what to expect, making it easier for them to fall asleep.
A good example of an evening routine could be:
18.30 - Brushing teeth and bathing
18:40 - Pajamas and sleeping bag
18:50 - Breastfeeding or formula
19:00 - Evening story
19:30 - Falling asleep
2. Early bedtime is best for your child
The ideal bedtime for babies is sometime between 6pm and 8pm.
Going to bed early ensures that your baby will be able to sleep for 11-13 hours.
It is crucial for all young children to get a minimum of 11 hours of sleep per night until they are 10 years old.
3. Put the child to bed awake
If you've been nursing and rocking your baby to sleep, putting him to bed while he's awake may be difficult at first, even though this is the most important step.
A child will learn to sleep through the night most quickly if they can fall asleep without help.
He may wander out a few times at first for various reasons, such as thirsty, hungry, peeing, pooping, being scared, or it's too dark.
Prepare something to drink in the room or even somewhere near his door so you can give it to him right away if he asks.
By all means, try to go to the bathroom before going to sleep, but that doesn't mean it won't come out just the same.
If he complains that he is afraid, you need to calm him down, explain that the walls are strong, you have locked the door, Mom and Dad are very strong and will protect him. Let him feel that he is safe. But if he gets scared and afraid at night, all he has to do is say something and they will come right away.
4. If your baby wakes up during the night, wait a few minutes before going in.
Everyone, regardless of age, wakes up several times during the night.
These awakenings actually occur at the end of sleep cycles.
Most children start crying or fussing immediately after waking up.
This is because they haven't learned to fall asleep on their own.
Fortunately, this can be learned, so with a little practice, your child will be able to rock themselves to sleep without any problems.
5. Comfort is key
Proper comfort is essential for deep sleep.
You can take care of this with a comfortable cot and pajamas.
A sleeping bag and bouncer made of fluffy bamboo will provide perfect comfort for your baby.
Due to its premium quality composition, it is also ideal for babies with sensitive skin.
Since bamboo has excellent thermoregulation properties, it is a perfect choice for nighttime use.
+1 Temperature and thickness of pajamas
If the room is too hot or cold, your little one may wake up at night.
That's why it's very important to experiment to find the right temperature for your baby.
In warmer weather, your baby can even sleep with the window open.
You should also find out how many layers of clothing your child can comfortably sleep in without getting cold.

An illness, a new tooth, a trip, a growth spurt or something else you don't take care of can disrupt your sleep at any time. You may have slept one way for 6 months and then it will be different. The basics are the same - listed above, but the point is to always find what works best for you.
If you are just getting him used to potty training, then he will go to the bathroom 1-2 times a night, it may be easier or harder for him to fall back asleep, even if he previously slept through the night in a diaper.
