Toddler baby in sleeping bag

How should I dress my child for sleep in the summer?

Are you constantly worried that if it moves around a lot, it will keep getting covered up?
The best solution for this is to use a sleeping bag for sleeping, because even if you move around in your sleep, you will still feel the same even temperature thanks to the sleeping bag.

Since we have quite changeable weather these days in the summer, I have brought you a guide that also provides guidance for slightly cooler times, so that if you have already purchased your summer sleeping bag, you don't have to buy another one.
When getting ready for sleep, we should choose clothes for our child made of interesting light and breathable materials, such as LiaaBébé's bamboo products.
These lightweight materials help you avoid overheating and contribute to airflow/ventilation.
A few extra tips for your summer evening routine
  • Ventilate the room 30 minutes before taking a bath (if it's not still very hot outside).
  • Warm bath water is best in the summer, as it evenly lowers your child's body temperature. Never bathe your child in cold water, even if he or she is overheated, as this can cause shock.
  • Giving a drink of breast milk or formula can also help cool the child down.
  • After morning ventilation, it is worth completely closing the blinds, so you can "block out" not only the heat but also the light. If possible, keep the blinds closed or the shades drawn all day long.
  • Your child can sleep with the window open, but it's a good idea to close it in the early morning hours.
  • However, you can leave the door open at night, so he has the necessary airflow, but be careful here too, it's better to close the door around 4 am, as the light can shine through and your child may wake up earlier.
  • Always check the room temperature before dressing your child for sleep.
Always check whether your child is hot, sweating, or cold, either before putting them to sleep or when they wake up at night.
Don't check your child's hands, face, or feet to see if they are hot or cold while sleeping, but rather their chest or the area between their shoulder blades, as this will show your child's real body temperature.
Let's see what to put under a 0.5 togo sleeping bag if the room temperature is:
Remember that every child has unique needs, so this is just a guide for you.
If you travel, be sure to bring your sleeping bag with you, as this way you will not only have your clothes with you, but also the scent of home.
